Dear Lloyd
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner but we have been very busy here plus holidays etc.
You asked for some feedback and my personal comments and thoughts are:
The display is very hard to understand – some of the words can barely be made out. The “brick” background was not easy on my eye. There are some “boxes” and it was not clear what they were for. One opened into TED but did not tell you that was where the link was. The voice over was also confusing – it carried on even when I went to different sections of the CD. The Index was difficult to follow – lots of “project project project” so navigation and trying to find something specific was not easy.
It did seem to me that you had collected together a lot of documents all of which had some relevance to tendering process but they had not been organised into easy to manage bites. The link at the bottom of some of the pages was also confusing. The whole CD Rom was not user friendly and I got lost a few times and had to go back and start again
I am also concerned as to the copy write on some of the documents in there – you had no disclaimer or copy write authorisation on some of the stuff and from our experience we have had to obtain this.
In quality management none of the links seemed to work and in marketing Products the link brought up a box asking if I wanted “save” execute” or something else.
I would not at this stage recommend this product to any of our SMEs -. They are looking for something nice and easy and user friendly which your product is not.
I have not received any comments back from the people who attended the workshop and I guess that is because they either have not looked or like me they found it quite difficult to navigate around.
Good luck
